Musical Mayhem Cabaret, the *best* in Under-Rehearsed and Over-Dramatic entertainment, is very excited to be Arizona's premiere musical comedy troupe! Born in Phoenix, Arizona in January of 2011 Musical Mayhem Cabaret has performed at The Kax at The Herberger Theater in Phoenix, The BlackBox Theatre in Casa Grade, Colors and New Moon in Tucson & more venues throughout the state.
One half NYC piano bar, one half Broadway musical cabaret, one fifth of vodka, and two parts luck, Musical Mayhem Tucson takes on the Great White Way right in it's big, brightly lit face! Where no show tune is safe and even Sondheim isn't sacred, Musical Mayhem Tucson aches to present to you our deepest interpretations of all your favorite songs that you never dreamed were possible. Our talented singers and comedians are working hard to make you laugh so much you'll cry and beg for more!
Songs from Spring Awakening, The Book of Mormon, Rent, Chicago, Kiss Me Kate, The Lion King, Cabaret, Once Upon a Mattress, Phantom of the Opera, Camelot, Jersey Boys, Annie, The Little Mermaid, Reefer Madness, Fiddler on the Roof, tick tick...BOOM, Cry Baby, Wicked & many, many more are featured in Musical Mayhem shows and NO two shows are EVER the same!!

So were we! That's why Musical Mayhem Cabaret's creator Dana Cianciotto decided to take matters into her own hands! There are dozens of wonderful theater companies throughout Arizona which you can attend almost any night of the week and see an incredible performance that has been rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed until it has been beaten to a violent death into the ground and the actors can do it backwards, drunk and asleep!
We here are Musical Mayhem Cabaret LOVE to see those shows...but we really missed that fun, improvised, and occasionally raunchy feeling of the iconic east coast piano bars like The Duplex and Rose's Turn in NYC. We began to yearn to see actors slip up, miss their lines, or tumble into the pit during yet another production of "Inherit the Wind" or "The Music Man."
And thusly, Musical Mayhem was born!

The improvised nature and organic feeling to Musical Mayhem Cabaret's shows are unique and unlike anything you've seen or felt before. If YOU are seeing a joke onstage for the first time, odds are good WE are seeing it onstage for the first time. Our talented cast plays off each other and blends together like the kind of family that really likes each other, and our rotating cast and themed shows guarantees you will never see the same show twice!
Our audiences can tell that we're having a great time performing for them and the cabaret aspect allows the audience to be involved in our shows as needed. We aren't a full "audience participation" show, but we urge our patrons to laugh loudly, imbibe much and even sing along from time to time. Whether we're skewering pop icons, cartoon characters or politicians you'll be able to see just how much fun it is to be Under-Rehearsed and Over-Dramatic!
